Our global director of client confidentialityand our Confidentiality Council, which comprises senior partners from acrossthe firm and areas of expertise, guide our firmwide approach and address anyspecific questions and issues.
All of our people personally commit tomaintaining the highest professional standards. We ask every employee toannually reaffirm our Code of Business Conduct. Our new colleagues attenddedicated onboarding sessions that explicitly cover the firm’s expectations onconfidentiality and confidentiality standards. As colleagues are promoted andtake on new roles, they also receive additional training to both “refresh” thecontent and provide level-specific resources.
Our confidentiality framework includesdefinitions and appropriate usage of confidential information, standards forthe protection of confidential information and the avoidance of conflicts of interest,restrictions on information sharing and protocols for physical and IT security.Our specific confidentiality processes are continually reviewed and updated toensure that they fully align with the changing business environment andbest-practice standards.
All Orbis employees treat the followinginformation as completely confidential:
· Client names or identities unlessotherwise discussed with the client
· Client-specific deliverables andwork products, including drafts and preliminary analyses (other than the Orbisintellectual capital not specific to the client contained in them)
· Client-specific data provided bythe client or a client-related vendor, including quantitative data sets, RFPsand invitations to tender, or internal (client) documents
· Knowledge and information aboutour clients, including current or future operations, strategy, and otherbusiness-related information gained by consultants while working for clients orwhile working on tenders, RFPs, and proposals
